Concert documentaries: REM, Michael
I’m reading over a wire story (for tomorrow’s paper) on a glut of vampire films. Well there’s a glut of movie showings this week, including one with R.E.M.’s un-concert documentary, “This Is Not A Show.” (The band has played and recorded in Bloomington, incidentally, a couple decades back.) You can see the film, courtesy the Ryder, at IU Fine Arts on Saturday night.
Then there’s the Michael Jackson documentary to look forward to next week, if tickets don’t sell out. It opens with a midnight showing Tuesday night.
