Singers and listeners, welcome to a session of a cappella singing in a tradition that has been going on for 200 years in this country and in Indana since 1837.Singers sit in a hollow square and a leader stands in the center.People take turns choosing tunes composed by early American composers.The tune is sung first in shapes and then we sing one or more verses. New tunes and verses by contemporaries are also in the reportoire We host 2 all day singings with dinner on the grounds on the 4th weekend in October.
