Thomas Rhett, 21, hails from Valdosta, Ga, and has been around music his whole life. Although, he has been through several music phases, playing in rock bands in middle and high school, he didn’t start writing and playing country music until his senior year of high school. Thomas Rhett is currently a junior at Lipscomb University and signed his first publishing deal with EMI in 2010. He got his very first cut (I Aint Ready to Quit) on Jason Aldeans latest record, "My Kind of Party." He also recently just signed a record deal with Big Machine Lable Group in hopes of pursuing his dream of being a country music artist. “Everything that I want to accomplish in the music business will be pointed towards God and what he wants for me. I have no idea what will happen tomorrow, next week, or next year, but I have complete faith that wherever that may be will be the right spot. This is such an exciting time in my life, and I can’t wait to see what happens."
