THE ART OF POLITICS by Mark Stoops
On Tuesday, August 7th, beginning at 5:30 pm, The Venue will host a presentation by Mark Stoops, Democratic Candidate for The Indiana State Senate to fill the seat vacated by Vi Simpson. Mark is a fourth generation resident of Monroe County, a father of four, a graphic designer, and a former Art Gallery owner. He is the current President of the Monroe County Board of Commissioners, and is a former member of the Monroe County Counsel. Mark is well known as an advocate and activist concerning social and environmental issues.
A veteran of several successful county level campaigns, this is Marks first campaign for a State level office. Please enjoy this unique opportunity to learn his legislative philosophies and how he intends to represent Monroe County as its State Senator.
Refreshments will be provided by The Venue, and Our complete collection of Fine Art and Gifts will also be on display for viewing and purchase. Free parking will be available in the lot on the corner of 4th and Grant.
