Coal City Festival
DATE: August 17, 2012
Festival Kicks off Friday with a pet parade and a cruise-in at 7 p.m. Enjoy 50s music, euchre and more. Vendors and the American Legion Aux will have food and drinks available.
Saturday: Legion Flag raising at 7:30 a.m.; 5Kwalk run; bounce houses, cake walks, merchandise drawings, Coal City Vol. Fire Dept Fish Fry 11 a.m.; Dinners and homemade ice cream at THE MARKET; Pizza at the Gas Station; Vendors, raffles, flea markets, parade line up at 1 p.m. and parade at 2 p.m., horseshoe and corn hole contests, music provided by Preacher and the Redhead at 10:50 a.m., Patchwork, 2:30 p.m., Owen Co Community choir at 4:30 p.m. and Joy and Company at 7 p.m.; Euchre at 7 p.m.
Sunday: Community Church service at 10 a.m. at the Shelter House, pork dinner at the fire dept. at 11 a.m.; Volleyball tournament at noon and gospel music by Master Bouquet at 1 p.m.

• TIME: 6 p.m. Friday; 7 a.m.-10 p.m. Saturday; 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Sunday
